01/27/2018 - Icy conditions on South Bedford Road resulted in a motor vehicle accident and a temporary road closure. Bedford Police and the Bedford Highway Department assisted us with closing the road and salting the area. NYSEG worked quickly to remove the pole from the vehicle, which allowed the tow truck to access the vehicle and remove it. After the vehicle was removed, our units opened the roadway.
