This was a large storm and we have still many roads closed or blocked by trees and/or wires. Many of these trees and wires cannot be removed until NYSEG makes them safe.

Please stay clear of all wires. Any wire affected by the storm could still be energized. Do not attempt to move downed trees with wires or trees leaning on wires.

Generator tips: use caution when filling them if they are hot, and keep them a safe distance from your house so you will not build up carbon monoxide.
