The members of the Bedford Fire Department are anxiously awaiting the delivery of our new ambulance, which will carry the call sign 52-B2 because the Fire District has agreed to add a second ambulance to our apparatus fleet. Having 2 ambulances will allow our members to provide medical service to multiple patients at a time. 52-B1 will become our second due ambulance, allowing us to continue to help at community events and sports standbys without the need for mutual aid from outside agencies.
