The BFD put our new ambulance, 52-B2 into service on July 27 and officially became a two ambulance agency. The very next day, both our ambulances were dispatched along with Rescue-44 and Engine 110 to a motor vehicle rollover with extrication required for 2 occupants. Both patients were delivered to the Level 1 Trauma Center at Westchester Medical Center in Vahalla well within the ‘golden hour.’ A great job by all BFD crews and by our 2 responding WEMS medics.
