| Each year, the Bedford Fire Department assembles for fireworks stand-by at the Bedford Golf and Tennis Club, held the night before Independence Day.
After breaking out the lawn chairs and cold cut sandwiches, members sat back and enjoyed the show. And, what a show it was! The 45 minute event featured both traditional aerial display fireworks, and an equally as impressive ground level display.
At the end of the show, members donned their gear and flashlights, and searched the grounds of the Club for any remaining embers. Fortunately, everything checked out and all Bedford units picked up and returned to quarters. |
