Just before 8 p.m. on August 22nd, Bedford Fire and EMS was dispatched to the area of Baldwin Road and Hoyts Lane for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. A Westchester EMS 45-Medic was already in the area from a previous EMS call, and quickly determined that no injuries were sustained. Our Ambulance was canceled en-route, but Rescue 44 was requested to the scene by Bedford Police for stabilization.

Upon the arrival of Rescue 44 and Car 2042, a single SUV was located in a precarious position up an embankment. The crew of Rescue 44 set up scene lighting and helped to stabilize and bring the vehicle to a safe location on the roadway with JV Auto, the towing company on scene. Minor fluids and debris were removed from the roadway following removal of the vehicle.
