In the very early hours of November 23rd, Bedford Fire and EMS were dispatched to the area of Loop Road and Pound Ridge Road (Route 172) for a reported motor vehicle accident with extrication. The original call came through Pound Ridge Police, and the exact location was uncertain until a Bedford Police officer on patrol came across the accident scene. A single vehicle had left the roadway at a significant rate of speed and crashed into a tree just before the Loop Road intersection.

Police and arriving members of the BFD were able to help stabilize and remove the patient from the vehicle. They were transported via Ambulance 52-B1 with a paramedic to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Arriving Engine 109 was able to close the road and divert traffic while the incident was cleared.

Later in the morning, Ambulance 52-B1 went mutual aid to Mount Kisco VAC's district to help transport a patient to Northern Westchester Hospital.

At around 11:32 a.m., Bedford Fire was dispatched to the area of Upper Hook Road and Old Post Road for a reported brush fire. Further investigation by Car 2043 found the small brush fire, approximately 15' by 40' in size, at the intersection of Honey Hollow Road and Old Post Road. Engine 109 stretched a line and doused the smoldering brush. A precautionary call to NYSEG was also made, due to the unusual location of the fire.
