Bedford Fire department was responding for a EMS call when the tones went out for a Structure Fire on Turtle Pond Lane & The Farms Road. Ex Chief Paul Aquilino driving 52B1 saw the smoke as they drove by The Farms Road and confirmed a working fire. The ambulance then continued on to the medical call and later responded to the scene. Car 2041 arrived and started his size up for incoming units. Engine 109 was first due and followed by Tanker 5 who's crews went to work and did an amazing job holding the fire. Additional units arrived and the fire was quickly contained. The members of the Bedford Fire Department would like to thank the mutual aid company's for all the help.
