Homeowner Donates House for Training Prior to New Construction

The Bedford Fire Department was given an amazing training opportunity by a resident who will be knocking down their house to rebuild it to a newer and more fitting house for their family. The resident allowed the fire department to hold training evolutions in the home. Our department, along with our mutual aid companies, will be working on search and rescue and fire fighting tactics. If you are in the area please feel free to stop by and see what our volunteers do when an actual emergency may arise. Please be aware that if you do stop by that this is private property, and viewing is only permitted from the street. This training will continue for the next few weeks, and we will post any major changes to the schedule.

*** Note Engine 110 and MA-7 were used at this most recent training. It will be one of the last training events that Engine 110 will do as a Bedford Fire Department Engine 110. We will possibly be taking delivery of the new 2017 Seagrave to replace Engine 110 towards the end of this week.

Units: Engine 110, MA-7, 2042, 2044, 2045, 2046, 2048
