Just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 11th, Bedford Fire and EMS were toned out for motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Honey Hollow Road and Black Brook Road. A single vehicle was located down an embankment and into the woods at the intersection, with the occupant out on arrival. Ambulance 52-B2 crews assessed the patient, who declined transport. Rescue 44 remained on location to secure the vehicle, provide scene lighting and traffic control, and cut some of the brush surrounding the car with a chain saw to allow access for the tow company. Sal's Towing recovered the vehicle; Pound Ridge PD assisted with Bedford PD, as the intersection is the boundary for both districts. |
