| Just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19th, the Katonah Fire Department, Bedford Police and KBHVAC were dispatched to the intersection of Almar Lane and Route 22 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. The initial size up of the accident by Car 2212 brought a request for two more ambulances, and just after 6 p.m., our ambulance was requested to the scene. While Car 2041 and Ambulance 52-B1 were en-route to Katonah, Bedford was toned out for a reported car vs. pedestrian accident. Car 2043 on a redirect with Engine 110 responded to the intersection of Long Ridge Road and Pound Ridge Road. Members provided medical attention to the woman with the Bedford Police until the arrival of PRLVAC. The patient then was transported with minor injuries to Northern Westchester Hospital. All units returned to service in just under an hour, and Ambulance 52-B1 returned shortly thereafter. |
