Bedford Fire Department

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We are the Bedford Fire Department - A 100% VOLUNTEER fire, rescue & ambulance service providing 24 / 7 coverage and answering over 775 calls for service annually.

Your generosity during our annual fund drives supports our firehouse in many ways. You sponsor our fire safety trailer, which travels to schools and events  to provide fire safety training for area children.  You support department events for the community and scholarships for Fox Lane seniors. You help to maintain the history of the Bedford Fire Department, including our historic firehouse and our vintage fire trucks. Your funding also helps us to attract and retain new members so that we can continue to meet Bedford Village’s emergency services needs.

Donations can be made by check or on our website (click the DONATE button).  Donors receive the new BFD oval car sticker to display proudly on your vehicle, along with our appreciation.

Volunteer!  If you are looking to be of service and to possibly make a difference in the lives of others, please visit us at our firehouse or on our website, or give us a call.  We'll help you get started with uniforms, equipment and training.  It's easier than you think.
