| The Andrew K Dwyer Scholarship was established by the Dwyer family to provide financial assistance to children of Bedford, Katonah and Bedford Hills Police Officers, Firefighters and emergency medical personnel, who plan on attending college.
It consists of annual scholarships of up to $3,000.
If you are a graduating senior and related to any of the above organizations, you may be eligible. Junior Corps members are eligible, from what I understand.
I would urge all of you to reach out to our fire, police and EMS community here in the Town of Bedford and make them aware of this wonderful opportunity.
Applications and other related documentation can be downloaded from the BFD website. Hard copies are available at the firehouse or by contacting Asst Chief Lazaro. |
